However, there are many people who for reasons of constitution or age have, to a greater or lesser degree, yellowish teeth.
In these cases, a professional
internal whitening technique with
CARBAMIDE PEROXIDE, gives excellent results,
with the teeth remaining white for five years.
If your problem also affects the shape or the position of your teeth (moderate misalignments) the solution is to embellish your morphology, and correct the lack of alignment... In these cases
Dental Sculpture in combination with
Porcelain Veneers provides spectacular results (without caps, without filing or reducing the enamel on the teeth)

Classification of treatments in Cosmetic Dentistry depending on the period of time required for obtaining results:
- Instantaneous (instant results)
- 1.1. Chemical whitening (in the Clinic).Treatment for tooth COLOUR. Using Hydrogen Peroxide 35% or Carbamide Peroxide 30%. Treatment for altering tooth COLOUR, results from the very first session. One 45 minute session is sufficient in 80% of cases. In darker teeth, a 2nd session is sometimes required a week later. 350 € per session.
- 1.2. Dental Sculpture:
Treatment for tooth SHAPE. Composites are used, together with a lot of skill on the part of the specialist, who sculpts the tooth, changing its shape, camouflaging slight alterations of position or separations between teeth and providing a new homogenous colour by covering the tooth on its external side. There is no need to file (reduce) the tooth, and therefore the majority of the enamel is preserved. Duration 5-10 years, after which the treatment could be repeated or porcelain sheets (veneers) could be attached. 400 € per Dental Sculpture.
- Immediate deferred (results in 5 days) corrects disorders in COLOUR, SHAPE AND POSITION
- 2.1. Porcelain veneers:
Treatment for tooth COLOUR, SHAPE AND POSITION
Results within 5 days as the veneers are made by an expert in dental prosthetics and require this period of time. During the first appointment, the “measurements” of the teeth are taken and during the second one the veneers are “attached” to them. The preparation of the teeth requires minimum erosion of the front part (0.3 mm) which is the average thickness of the veneers; the reason for this is to ensure that when attaching them the teeth don’t look “fat”. It is the STAR treatment where there are alterations or disorders in COLOUR combined with alterations in DENTAL SHAPE or POSITION. Durability exceeds 10 years. Over the years, the veneers can be replaced with new ones without any problem whatsoever. 550 € per Porcelain Veneer.
- 2.2. Zirconium Crowns and Bridges: this is the latest in replacing old porcelain caps or bridges, and by not carrying metal they are clearer and more natural. Zirconium has enormous resistance to fracture. 590 € per Zirconium tooth.
- 2.3. Gingival Cosmetic Surgery (of the gums):
This is called a Gingivoplasty or gingivectomy. It provides a solution in less than 15 minutes for asymmetries between the gums, very low gums which make the teeth look too short, very thick gums, gums that are pigmented, bulging papillae (triangles of gum between the teeth), etc. After a 48 cicatrisation or healing period and following a simple application of Bioactive Chlorhexidine Gel, the results are visible from that moment on.
It is performed with local anaesthetic and laser. 300 €.
- Short term (2 – 4 months)
- 3.1. Dental Implants:
Treatment for the replacement of missing teeth in the most “organic” way possible: replacing the root with screw cylinders with rough Titanium surface, without needing to use the neighbouring teeth to “hook onto”.
- 3.2. Filler for lips, supralabial wrinkles, corners of the mouth and nasogenian groove. Supplementary to the Cosmetic Dentistry Treatments are those entailing areas that are aesthetically compromised. Technique apt for avoiding so-called “DUCK LIP” or “TROUT POUT”
- Medium term (2 – 3 years)
- 4.1. Orthodontics Corrects alterations or disorders in the position of the teeth, but not those of DENTAL COLOUR OR SHAPE. It must be supplemented with additional treatments previously mentioned once the orthodontic treatment has been completed, if the patient presents defects in the COLOUR and/or SHAPE of the teeth.
White braces (porcelain or plastic) to avoid the appearance of “a mouth full of metal”.
