We place at your disposal an Orthodontics service under the direction of Dr. Magdalena Díaz de Atauri Bosch and Dr. Rosa Rosa Sáenz Feijóo.

During the first appointment we will have the opportunity to meet you, to find out your expectations and to seek the solution best suited to them
You will know from the very first moment how much it is going to cost you. If you agree, we will undertake a complete study for the purposes of examining your case and thereby establishing a protocol and the guidelines for your treatment. In Orthodontics, each treatment is completely personalised.
We will request you undergo some x-rays, a full cephalometry and photos for diagnostic study. Once in our hands, we will study them in great detail and make an appointment with you to begin your long-anticipated treatment.
TRUE OR FALSE
Orthodontics are only for children.
false: adults are also perfect candidates for these treatments. They can be undergone at any age as a small force applied constantly against a tooth, moves it in the direction of same until it reaches its ideal position. It is the same in children as it is in adults; if there is any difference, it is that in adults we need to progress a little slower.
White braces get dirty.
false: providing oral hygiene is good and there is no significant smoking habit. When this does very rarely happen, it is resolved by changing a very simple part: the little rubber bands that hold the arch in place.
All metal braces are the same.
false: depending on the manufacturer they are larger and matt or small and glossy (these are our favourites).
Treatments last an average of 2 years.
true: of course each patient is different but do not despair as not only do the teeth have to be moved to the ideal positions, but we must also keep them stable in that position for the same amount of time that we have spent in moving them.
Orthodontics is an expensive treatment.
false: an affordable quota can be paid monthly, and it must also be borne in mind that the results last for many years. Agreements with medical insurance companies mean that these treatments can reach many people. Enquire without any obligation whatsoever!!! (The initial amount should be taken into account covering the insertion into the mouth of all the elements and devices (bands, arches, brackets, etc).
There is a brand new system that does not require Braces.
true: it is called Invisalign © and it can be used in cases that are not too complex. It is more expensive that treatment with Braces.
