The first and most important thing is to be aware of the importance of oral hygiene in avoiding tooth decay and periodontal disease ((gingivitis and periodontitis). To this effect, it is important that our explanations are clear and convincing and stimulate the child or the adult to follow all the instructions we facilitate on brushing technique, type of brush, daily periodicity. We will even demonstrate a simple method so that at home we can detect the areas which we are not “properly reaching” with the brush (bacterial plaque revealers)

On all permanent teeth than do not have caries, we will seal all cavities and fissures on the molar surface to avoid their formation.

We will apply fluoridations (topical application of fluoride with single-use trays)
We will fill the milk teeth and molars that are still going to be around for a good while.
We will review the bite (occlusal study) to establish whether it is age appropriate. We will observe the presence or absence of alterations or disorders in the growth of the jaw and upper maxilla; in the event of observing any problem we will inform you and send you to our centre’s orthodontics department.

We want to check children every 6 months.
